One Business At A Time

Entrepreneurs
Launching a new business takes courage, determination and a great idea. We believe in you and your potential to build something new.

Business Owners
We like to see small businesses become big businesses. If your business is already rolling along, we can help you scale up and take it to the next level.

Community Organizations
If your not-for-profit community organization is starting a program aligned with our mission we want to talk. Let's work together to promote our local economies.

"When I decided to strike out on my own as an entrepreneur in 2008, my first call was to Tecumseh.  TCDC's team have been a valuable resource– from my initial meeting through financing my business. I continue to rely on them for support, mentorship and guidance.  As a First Nation business owner, my business would not be where it is today without the assistance of TCDC."

How We Help

Financing for new and established businesses

If you need funding, you've come to the right place. We can provide businesses loans to eligible projects across our service area. You can also leverage the money we provide to raise additional funds from traditional lenders. If you're not ready for financing, we can help you get prepared.

Mentoring and Business Coaching

We have been helping businesses grow for 37 years. When you engage with TCDC you have a new business buddy. Connect with our staff for the coaching, mentoring, and encouragement you need to make your project a success. As you grow, keep coming back to us for guidance along the way.

Community Development

In 2015 we established a new funding stream available to partner organizations aligned with our mission. So far we have funded several dozen programs designed to promote First Nations economies.
